Terms of sale
Last updated September 29, 2026
1. Seller
These terms govern the sale of Git Lucky subscriptions by Alexandre Le Borgne, entrepreneur individuel (sole proprietor under French law, micro-entrepreneur), SIRET 877 675 702 00030, 269 avenue Victor Hugo, 26000 Valence, France (“we”), to any person buying one on gitlucky.dev (“you”). Contact: contact@gitlucky.dev, +33 6 62 69 71 12.
2. What you buy
A subscription lets the account you sign in with (Google or GitHub) use Git Lucky, a Git client for Linux, Windows and macOS, and gives access to every update released while the subscription is active. There is no license key to enter: you sign in to Git Lucky with the same account.
- Git Lucky can be used on two computers per account, one at a time: using it on one computer signs the other one out.
- You can remove a computer from your account at any time to use Git Lucky on another one.
- The account is personal and may not be shared.
- Git Lucky checks the subscription online regularly; it keeps working offline for up to seven days.
3. Free month, prices and payment
Your first subscription starts with one free month, without entering a card. There is one free month per person: it is tied to your account and to the email addresses your account has used, so a new account opened with an address that already had its free month, or with a variant of it, does not get another one. Free months are not offered to disposable email addresses. To keep Git Lucky after the free month, add a card before it ends; otherwise the subscription ends with the free month and you are not charged.
After the free month, the subscription costs 3 € per month for customers paying in euros, or 3 US$ per month for customers paying in US dollars, as shown at checkout. VAT is not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Payment is made by card through Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
4. Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically every month, at the price then in force. You can cancel at any time from your account, including during the free month; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and Git Lucky keeps working until then. Periods already started are not refunded.
If a renewal payment fails, access stays open for a few days while the payment is retried, then stops if it still fails.
5. Gifted access
We may give access to Git Lucky for a set time or for life, for instance through a license key entered in your account. Gifted access is free, personal and not refundable; two keys used one after the other add up. We may revoke gifted access obtained in breach of these terms.
6. Right of withdrawal
Git Lucky is digital content supplied immediately after purchase. At checkout, you expressly ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal, as provided by article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
7. Delivery
Your account can use Git Lucky as soon as the subscription starts: sign in to Git Lucky with the same Google or GitHub account. The software is downloaded from the download page. Stripe sends receipts and invoices by email.
8. Liability
Git Lucky runs Git commands on your repositories. It keeps a backup before destructive commands, but you remain responsible for backing up your data. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid over the last twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Personal data
See our privacy policy.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Please contact us first so we can find a solution together. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Failing an amicable solution, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules of your country of residence.
